SEOSArtist comes to Fairwarp for the first time

I am really excited to be taking part in South East Open Studios 2021 from 4th to 20th June and would love to see you there.

There are over 200 artists who are involved in the region. All 200 members feature on the South East Open Studios website, www.seos-art.org and on social media platforms.

SEOS is a not-for-profit organisation. Members practise painting, printmaking, pottery and ceramics, jewellery, glass and woodwork, sculpting, textile art, digital work, illustration and mixed media. Many artists choose to demonstrate their techniques during the 17 day event.

Follow @seospenstudios on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and join the mailing list to receive news about the event and artists.

I will be exhibiting along with fellow artists, Sandy Infield and Claire Gill, at Black Shed Studios, Nursery Lane, Fairwarp TN22 3BD. The studios will be open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and 10am to 8pm Friday to Sunday. For more details please go to SEOS Art Guide

For parking you might be lucky to find a place beside the village green otherwise use the Village Hall Car Park, Nursery Lane TN22 3BD and follow the signs - see attached map. It is only a short walk to also visit Ashdown Pottery (open Thursday to Sunday 10am to 5pm) to see the artworks of potters, Bill Gowans and Anthea Stewart, and jeweller, Bea Ramsay.

As the opening hours are so long I won't be there all the time so if you are able to come do please email me first or leave a message on our home line 01825 713477 (sadly most mobile phones don't work in our village), so I can make sure I'm there to meet you.

The builders are back (hurrah!) which means we don't have a working kitchen at the moment so unfortunately we can't offer you any hospitality at home. Weather permitting we are hoping to be able to offer light refreshments at the studios but do check out our local pub www.theforestersfairwarp.com as well.

This is a real adventure for me so I do hope you will be able to pop in.
