Our story
The Dewhurst family have lived in Fairwarp for 21 years. We moved house through the woods four years ago and planted our vineyard in the adjacent paddock, whilst applying for organic status, which was granted in March 2023. This project kept us occupied during those early ‘lock-down’ months. It was, and still is, a whole family effort, attending courses and enlisting the help of friends when needed.
We are striving to produce wine that makes a difference to the environment and use a hands-on approach with minimal interference to the crop and the land.
We had our first small harvest in October 2022. Our 2023 vintage is now available, this has produced an delicious, clean, crisp and fragrant white wine which we are proud to offer for sale.
