About the Echo

Simply the best little village magazine in Sussex!

Established in May 1971 and still going strong!

2017 saw the introduction of a rolling competition for the cover for the Fairwarp Echo.  
Anyone with a connection with Fairwarp can enter.  Entries must be submitted by the 10th of the preceding month (eg 10th June for July’s edition etc).
The subject matter is based primarily on ‘what the month in question means to the artist’.  There is no right or wrong!  Entries must be on A4 portrait and original copies must be available for use. Any media so long as it can be scanned to be digitalised.
Include your name and age and your connection of the back of the picture (or a separate page if it may damage the picture).
Send to The Editor, Fairwarp Echo, c/o Wrenswood, Oldlands Hall, Herons Ghyll, Uckfield TN22 3DA
SAE if return of picture is required.
Judges’ decision is final.
There is no prize other than the winner’s picture being on the front of the Fairwarp Echo for one month’s edition.

Postal subscriptions are £13.00 for 12 months.
The magazine costs just 50p per month.
